Senior Church Leaders

Glenn and Margaret have worshipped at SFCC for many years and in 2015 took up the role of Senior Leaders of the Church. Whilst Glenn retains his role as CEO of Ashfield Extrusion, a local engineering business, he is fully committed to seeing a thriving, growing church within our local community. Glenn and Margaret have three grown up children and seven grand-children.

The Expect Youth Group is led by Glenn and Margaret’s son, Andrew and wife Sarah.

Mark and Julie Himsworth

Also leading the Church are Mark and Julie who have been a part of this Church since it’s formation over thirty years ago. As well as the role of Elder, Mark is our Treasurer and works full time in the Church for at least two days a week. Mark and Julie also have three grown up children and three lovely grand-daughters.

SFCC is a Bible believing Church based in Blidworth in the heart of Sherwood Forest. We are a family orientated Church, locally based, but working in co-operation with other Churches across the county and country
