We Celebrate The Creator

Sherwood Forest Community Church may be seen as a ‘local Church’ but it has connections with many like minded Christians around our world. We have a global vision to be a part of what God is doing locally, regionally, nationally and around the globe. Giving God all the glory He deserves.

To enable this to happen we must ALL play our part – living and working in our Communities in a way that reflects our God and helping everyone we meet, to see that God has a unique purpose and plan for their Life.

Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.

Billy Graham

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.

C. S. Lewis

Information – Update

In response to the removal of Covid restrictions in England on the 19th July we will no longer be asking you to book in on line for our Sunday services with effect from 25/07/2021, as you arrive please note the following:

Please continue to wash/sanitise hands on entry to the building. Please continue to bring a Mask for moving around the building. there will be some who will want to keep their mask on during the service and some who will want to remove their mask for singing or the duration of the service, either is fine whilst at your seat. We recommend that those who are vulnerable continue to wear masks at all times in the building and during the service. We will not be returning the chairs to full capacity although we will reduce the social distance from 2m down to 1 meter. We will continue to ventilate the room with open doors and windows. We want to encourage as many people back into the building as want to come, let’s give everybody respect and the personal space they need as we navigate church together as Gods family. Not everyone will want a hug or even a handshake therefore do not unless it’s a mutually agreed act. We ask that you clear building quickly and have conversations outside where possible. We will continue to live stream our Sunday services. https://sfcc.online.church/

Important: Do not attend church if you have tested positive for covid or if you have symptoms of covid, waiting for a test result or if you have been asked to isolate by track and trace. You should not attend church if you are living with someone who has covid or who has been told to isolate.
